As Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) face Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, Virat Kohli's form remains a major talking points. The RCB icon has struggled with the bat in the 2022 Indian Premier League having scored just 216 runs at an average of 19.64. Before the start of the game vs PBKS on Friday (May 13) evening , Sunil Gavaskar suggested that there is not much anyone can advice a player of Kohli's calibre who has scored 70 centuries in international cricket. Gavaskar went on to hail Kohli as one of the most attractive batters to watch in world cricket and claimed it is a matter of luck before runs start flowing from his bat again. "What can you tell him? He has got 70 international hundred. There is no advice to give him. Luck needs to change," said Gavaskar to Star Sports in the pre-match show. "Apart from the opposition, every other person wants to see him score runs. There are very few more attractive players in the game than Kohli in the game. When he gets going, the cut shots, the pull shots, the drives, everything is brilliant. It's a matter of luck just going his way. "The other day, he played uppishly and it went straight to the fielder. On another day, the fielder could have been 5 yards to the left or right, it could have been a boundary. When luck is not going his way, your first mistake will get you out. Just hope luck runs his way and then he wil be back among scoring the big runs," added the Indian batting legend. Talking about the ongoing IPL 2022 match after winning the toss RCB decided to bowl first. A quick-fire 29-ball 65 by Jonny Bairstow helped PBKS get a brilliant start as they scored 81 runs in the powerplay. Liam Livingstone continued the momentum. Wanindhu Hasaranga bowled an incredible spell that saw him take two wickets and conceded just 15 runs despite every other player going for big runs.
